Our Mission

Whole Health Outreach is a faith-based nonprofit organization committed to preventive healthcare and education. Our objective is to respond to the crisis in rural healthcare LOCALLY, PREVENTIVELY, AND PERSONALLY.

Our History

Established in 1989, the primary purpose of this organization is to help poor and vulnerable people help themselves. Services and programs encourage low-income families to become or remain productive, support their families, and contribute to society. Through leadership in the community and responsible stewardship of resources, Whole Health Outreach has developed a range of services for older adults, victims of domestic violence, and families in crisis. Last year, 19 women and 11 children received shelter residential care and crisis intervention services; 105 victims of domestic violence received advocacy services, 239 families received emergency financial assistance and items essential to daily life; and 203 senior citizens were served through the senior visiting program. Collaborateive partnerships with local churches, schools, health providers, and social service agencies strengthen the services that are provided to residents of these rural counties.
